Cancelled
GUANO APES has cancelled their show scheduled for January 23rd, 2026 at Barba Negra. All purchased tickets will be automatically refunded to the credit card used at the time of purchase within 30 days at the latest, with no further action to be taken. The band’s statement:
’Dear Apes friends,
We would have loved to celebrate with you, but unfortunately, we have to let you know today that the planned "Free the Monkey" tour cannot take place due to ongoing vocal issues.
We are deeply saddened by this ourselves, and you can be sure that this decision was not made lightly. Canceling the tour was truly a last resort. However, postponing the tour once again without being certain if or when it could happen later on didn’t feel right or transparent to us.
We deeply regret the entire situation. We were incredibly excited about this tour, and it’s been amazing to see how many of you wanted to attend the shows — so many, in fact, that together with our amazing booking agency FKP Scorpio, we had to upgrade venues multiple times, and even then, the shows were sold out. Thank you!
Of course, purchased tickets can be returned. We’re truly sorry if this cancellation causes you any inconvenience.
You know us – each one of us always gives 100% on stage. Right now, that’s unfortunately not possible, and it wouldn’t be fair to you if we couldn’t deliver the energetic show you’re used to and that you absolutely deserve. Health comes first, and we need to allow enough time for recovery to be fully fit for live shows again. We hope you understand.
We’d also like to give a special thank you to our entire crew, who have been incredibly understanding in this situation.
We hope for your continued support and loyalty,
Yours truly,
The Apes’Alter Bridge

Cathartic release of energy – Grandson brings his new album to Barba Negra
Grandson, known for his sharp social commentary and heart-wrenching songs based on real stories, shows a darker, harder and more uncompromising side than ever before with the release of his third album, INERTIA. The talented Canadian-American artist will present his new album in Budapest on February 14, 2026, at Barba Negra.
Grandson has played to huge audiences several times recently, including performing at Linkin Park's comeback concert and headlining the renowned Left Field Tent at Glastonbury Festival.
His Budapest debut in 2023 was immediately sold out at the Akvarium, and he was seen also in a full tent at Sziget on the Revolut stage in 2024.
The new album INERTIA will ignite mosh pits while provoking further examination of its themes, and one in which American politics is the context to connect with a broader, progressive international audience. “So many people are fighting for different things,” he concludes. “I believe that finding connection with one another, through music or otherwise, and making collective demands for a brighter, better future, can lead us to a more holistic way of living, thinking, and consuming. It all starts with a cathartic release of energy. Meet you in the pit.” – Everyone is invited to listen to Grandson: meet at Barba Negra on February 14.Poppy: Constantly Nowhere Tour
