Bigger Than You Think! – The Simple Plan celebrates its 25th anniversary in Budapest

With hits like I’m Just a Kid, Perfect, and Welcome to My Life, Simple Plan provided the soundtrack to many people’s teenage years, while continuing to evolve and stay on the road over the past 25 years, cementing their place among pop-punk legends with one hit after another. The band celebrated their 25th anniversary last year, and as part of the occasion their Bigger Than You Think! tour will reach Europe this fall, including a stop in Budapest: everyone is invited to the birthday punk party on October 21 at Barba Negra.

A sci-fi-like journey with Carpenter Brut and Health at Barba Negra

Carpenter Brut evokes the pop culture of the 1980s through the soundtrack of an imaginary post-apocalyptic film,and is one of the most influential artists of the retrowave scene. After 8 years, the French producer returns to Budapest with his new concept album Leather Temple, ready to bathe us in neon lights on November 19 at Barba Negra. The album tour will be co-headlined with Health, with VOWWS appearing as special guests.

The mixture of theater, horror and metal – One of Swedish metal’s craziest bands, Avatar is coming to Budapest

Sweden’s Avatar is exactly the kind of band that has become increasingly rare today: brutally heavy, spectacularly theatrical, and unbelievably entertaining all at once. Over the years, the Gothenburg-based group has evolved into one of modern metal’s most unique acts, seamlessly blending melodic death metal, alternative metal, and grotesque rock theater into a singular experience. Avatar will arrive in Budapest on December 5, 2026, performing at Barba Negra.
