Machine Gun Kelly, the unstoppable rapper performs in Budapest Park.

His artist’s name refers perfectly to his unstoppable energy, his recent single Mainstream Sellout has gone straight to the top of the Billboard 200 and is up for a Grammy nomination in next year's Best Rock Album category. Machine Gun Kelly, meanwhile, has been through sold-out stadium and arena tours, plays regularly in films, and next year we'll finally get to see what he's like when he really lets loose on stage at his first Hungarian concert, on 26th June 2023 at Budapest Park.

Machine Gun Kelly is a truly charismatic phenomenon, blessed with a massive amount of talent. The Cleveland-raised Colson Baker first made his name around 2006 with his poignantly honest mixtapes, three years later he won the world-famous Apollo Theatre talent contest in Harlem, and after his SXSW debut he was picked up and signed by none other than P.Diddy. Her debut album Lace Up reached #4 on the Billboard charts and was not short of awards neither. With his next albums, he has continued to raise the bar and has worked with artists such as Camila Cabello, French Montana, Pusha T., Meek Mill, Wiz Khalifa, Yungblud, Trippie Redd, Kid Rock and Travis Baker.

Machine Gun Kelly is an atomic force in the entertainment industry today, throwing himself into making music with elemental force at concerts, and now - after two years of waiting - we will finally get to experience what he's like when he takes to the stage on 26th June at Budapest Park.

The drummer of Blink 182 produced Kelly's 2020 album Tickets to My Downfall, which, to the surprise of many, was a pop-punk album. The album opened at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, and the tracks "bloody valentine" and "my ex's best friend" went platinum. Mainstream Sellout, which arrived in 2022, cemented the musician's chart-topping status, with the new material also reaching the top of the Billboard 200 and being nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Rock Album category.

The Mainstream Sellout tour sold out shows across North America and Europe, closing the series in front of 50,000 fans in his hometown of Cleveland. Looks like Machine Gun Kelly has no insurmountable levels ahead of him. His contribution to music earned him a spot on Time's 100 Next list, which honors the world's emerging leaders who are shaping the future and defining the next generation of leaders.

A versatile musician, he often appears in films: he made his acting debut in Beyond the Lights, played Pearl Jam's roadie in the Cameron Crowe series Roadies, played Tommy Lee in the Mötley Crüe documentary, and has also been seen in the Netflix film Bird Box and the comedy Big Time Adolosence. Most recently, he starred in Taurus, where he plays a rock star character like himself alongside his fiancée Megan Fox. His life has also been the subject of a documentary film, Machine Gun Kelly's Life in Pink.
